Leopold Benedict
A London-born actor, writer and director based between London and Normandy, and the Artistic Director of Four Winds Theatre Company and works across stage and screen. A graduate of RADA, the Conservatoire National Supérieur, Paris and the University of Cambridge, his work combines bold visual storytelling, original music and classical texts for international audiences. For screen, he has assisted directors such as Robert Eggers, Molly Mae Walker, Armando Iannucci, Bridget Christie, Stephen Woolfenden, and David Lowery. He has recently worked on MobLand, Black Doves, SAS Rogue Heroes, Heartstopper (The Movie), & Granchester.

Anja Tornack
A German educational psychiatrist working with children with learning difficulties, she works with expression as a form of release, and through her visual and design world has found a second home in the theatre.

Assistant Producer, & PhotographerAshley Bowman
An American photographer based in South East London, specialising in portraiture for actors, creatives and artists. A graduate of the University of Kentucky with an MBA, she began her career in accounts and digital marketing at the multinational healthcare company Life Form, before following her passion for music, theatre and the creative arts. Drawing on both artistic instinct and commercial experience, she creates honest, characterful portraits through a relaxed, collaborative process from her Bermondsey studio and on location across London.
Costume Supervisor, & MakerClementine Greeley
A British costume designer, maker and educator whose work spans theatre, film and historical costume. Alongside lecturing at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, she works in costume fabrication at Cosprop, London's leading period costume house, and contributed to the costume department on Yorgos Lanthimos' Academy Award-winning Poor Things. A recipient of the Patterns of Fashion Award, she combines meticulous historical craftsmanship with contemporary theatrical imagination, collaborating across theatre, puppetry and screen.
Philippe Gurrey
A French-American carpenter in rural Normandy, has worked with wood for over fifty years. His first engagement with the theatre was hosting Romeo & Juliet in 2023 [starring Leopold Benedict], and since then he has gone on to host three productions at his château. His sense of design and organicity, and his practising buddhism brings a sense of healthy community, minfdfullness, and wonderful energy to the productin.
Phoebe Scholfield
General Manager & PayrollPhoebe Benedict is an English voice-casting director who has served as Executive of Sync Or Swim Productions since 2000, Soho's premier ADR loop-group, providing post-production voice casting for many of the world's leading film and television productions. Her company employs around 1,000 actors each year and has contributed to productions including Spectre, Downton Abbey, Slow Horses, Fleabag, Black Mirror, Wolf Hall and Adolescence. Upcoming projects include the Harry Potter television series, The Wheel of Time and Honey. Four Winds is delighted to benefit from her exceptional expertise in casting and large-scale production management.
Kathleen Colyar Gurrey
Wardrobe Assistant, Artistic ResidencySet Builder, & Artistic ResidencyAn American designer, seamstress and art historian based in rural Normandy. With a meticulous eye for period detail, ornament and fine fabrics, she oversees the textiles and decorative finishing, bringing elegance, historical sensitivity and exceptional craftsmanship to every costume and scenic element. Her appreciation for traditional making and the visual arts helps shape the rich aesthetic language that defines the company's work.
